Adam Trexler, PhD, moderated the nanotechnology panel at the annual Wharton Innovation Conference in Washing D.C. on April 29, 2015.
The Conference hosted a wide range of speakers and sessions focusing on innovation.
Nanotechnology (“nanotech”) is the manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale. Dr. Trexler explained to the Summit how an Aurum is manufactured. In creating the Aurum, gold is applied precisely to a substrate on the atomic scale.
Other panelists included:
Mark G. Allen
Singh Center for Nanotechnology,
University of Pennsylvania
Mark’s research allows the creation of structures, sensors and actuators that exploit the unique potential of nanotechnology.
Mike Patterson, CEO
