Year of the Tiger Aurum®

The artwork for the Year of the Tiger Aurum® depicts a majestic tiger, surrounded by motifs based on traditional Chinese patterning, lanterns, and abstracted elements. The bill also features a yellow lily “watermark,” representing the lucky flower for people born in the Year of the Tiger. Details are captured in vibrant red, a color that traditionally represents luck, joy, vitality, and celebration. This note is one of our newest designs and is ideal for stacking or collecting in bulk.

The gold within each Year of the Tiger Aurum® is visible throughout each note from edge-to-edge and is fully recoverable using standard fire assay techniques. This Aurum® is a single sided printed piece and has the characteristic “dimensional gold” embossed effect on the reverse where gold atoms have fallen on printed areas.
