With multiple product launches, major technology upgrades, and three prestigious awards in hand, Valaurum is proud to close out 2025 stronger than ever. This has been a year of considerable growth, thanks in large part to increased production capacity in our manufacturing department. Since January, we have printed more than five million Aurum® bills. We also had our highest number of new Aurum series releases to date. This year, we launched the six-bill Natural Treasure Aurum series (March), offering unprecedented anti-counterfeiting features, along with dual-sided printing and beautiful artwork showcasing iconic American animals. This was our first set of Aurum bills to incorporate UV fluorescence directly into the design, enhancing each bill’s security while adding visual interest. Bills in this series were overwhelmingly popular, selling out multiple times in their first few months of availability.

Following the Natural Treasure launch, we added five new bills to double our Gamefish series (June), and introduced the 2025 Christmas Aurum series featuring five beloved characters to celebrate the season (October). Our roster of available trading cards grew too, with the addition of Pixar and Formula 1 trading cards for Topps, as well as new NBA cards via Panini.

As the sole mint producing Goldback bills, we launched several exciting projects with Goldback in 2025. These include the Goldback one-tenth ounce bill, called the Goldback 100, as well as our smallest weight bill ever, the Goldback Half. Starting in 2025, we also included a new, light-up UV-reactive security feature incorporated into the back of the bill. We also partnered with Goldback on their Oklahoma, Florida, Washington, D.C., and Arizona Goldback bill releases. In early 2026, we will be announcing even more enhanced security features to be incorporated into Goldback bills for the coming year, so keep an eye out for those.

New Aurum launches weren’t our only exciting development this year. In the spring, we released a brand new Valaurum.com website featuring an improved browsing experience, faster load time, and enhanced capabilities. We also introduced the Wholesale Portal, creating a much smoother buying experience for our wholesale customers. The Wholesale Portal is brimming with helpful tools, including how-to guides, downloadable marketing materials, and an improved ordering process.

Finally, we were honored to receive multiple awards from several prestigious organizations, including appearing for the second year in a row on the Portland Business Journal’s list of 100 fastest-growing companies in Oregon and SW Washington, reaching #36 out of 100 in 2025. Valaurum was ranked the 23rd fastest-growing private company in Oregon on the Inc.com 5000 list, as well as number 401 on the Deloitte Fast 500™ list. This year marked our first appearance on both the Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Fast 500 rankings.
