Every dealer should have sufficient stock of the right denominations for how customers want to buy gold today. Buyers’ needs are changing rapidly as the price of gold increases. The market is demanding gold they can buy regularly to build wealth over time. Buying and selling gold in $4,000 increments simply doesn’t make sense for most people.
Premium is another important factor. Buyers may have concerns about gold products retaining their premium. Our newest bullion products are designed to have the lowest premiums we’ve ever offered. We encourage dealers to buy back the Aurum they sell and then sell them to other customers, either through their normal channels or into the dealer market. Many people also sell their bills to friends and family instead of returning them to their original dealer.

We strongly recommend reselling unwanted Aurum bills, and we can often connect dealers with other buyers. Bills can always be melted down to recover the gold.Valaurum’s return policy is limited to five (5) business days after the date on which you receive your order. A two-way market helps to reassure customers that their Aurum will retain value. By both buying and selling Aurum in your store, you create a two-way market that enables customers to buy Aurum as they wish, but also resell Aurum with ease. In thinking about your spread, it’s worth considering your carry cost as you wait to resell them, but also bear in mind that you will have earned industry-leading margins by selling them in the first place. A conservative way to price the buyback is at the replacement cost of the bills. Our experience is that only a small quantity of bills are resold to dealers.Providing a market above spot creates comfort for long-term investors. In short, they cost more to make, compared to traditional gold bars and coins. Obviously, it costs more to make 1,000 bills with advanced nanotechnology than it does to make a single ounce coin. Coins are oversupplied to the marketand that’swhy they’re regularly melted. That’s not true with most Aurum bills. Giving your customers a fair expectation of spread is important.
