The 2023 edition of the 1,000 milligram (one gram) American Bison Aurum® is the largest bill in our five-bill North American Animal Aurum® series. A modern take on classic themes, this bill showcases the majestic bison (Bison bison) in its native landscape. Multiple levels of micro-printing and security elements are embedded throughout the artwork for an investment that is both secure and timeless.
Our Aurum® products are designed to be the most flexible way to invest in 24 karat gold. Perfect for stacking and collecting in bulk, each gold bill contains a precise and verifiable amount of 24 karat gold protected between layers of durable polymer. As in the case of all of our Aurum®, the precious metal within each bill is visible from edge to edge and is fully recoverable using standard fire assay techniques.

Artwork Details
A single American Bison is shown in profile on the right side of the bill. The background of this bill depicts the iconic Yellowstone National Park, a region that is part of the bison’s natural range. An outline of the bison’s distinctive track appears in the top right corner, while a full-body depiction of a mature bison appears in the bottom left corner of the bill.
Five bars in the top left corner indicate that it’s the largest bill within the series of North American Animal bills. “1000” is printed in both the top left and bottom right corners in addition to appearing across the background of the bill. Lastly, security features have been subtly incorporated throughout the bill.
Individual bills are printed with a unique serial number that can easily be authenticated.
