Our Lunar New Year series continues with the newly issued Year of the Tiger Gold Aurum® Bill for 2022!

The Lunar New Year series honors the ancient Chinese lunar calendar, which dates back to the Han Dynasty (206 B.C.–9 A.D.) The artwork for the latest issue in this series depicts a majestic tiger surrounded by motifs based on traditional Chinese patterning, lanterns, and abstracted elements. The bill also features a yellow lily “watermark,” representing the lucky flower for people born in the Year of the Tiger. Details are captured in vibrant red, a color that traditionally represents luck, joy, vitality, and celebration. This bill is one of our newest designs and is ideal for stacking or collecting in bulk.

The Year of the Tiger Gold Aurum Bill makes a great addition to any collection. Each bill is made from 0.999 fine 24K gold with a weight of 1/10th gram.

The gold within each Aurum® is visible throughout each bill from edge to edge and is fully recoverable using standard fire assay techniques. This Aurum® is a single-sided printed piece and has the characteristic “dimensional gold” embossed effect on the reverse where gold atoms have fallen on printed areas.
